Become A Member of CMA
Membership
Our membership comprises of about 50 plus grain milling companies and traders. CMA represents about 40% of total grain milling capacity for maize in Kenya and over 85% of the wheat milling capacity. Our members operate mills across the country, with a reach of over 10 million consumers of maize flour and over 35 million consumers of wheat flour. We have internationally renowned grain traders as part of our membership. The members support CMA financially through membership fee and annual subscriptions. In return CMA is able to offer to its members a sound value for their money through expert linkages and operations within the confines and needs of our members. To be approved to join, potential members should be actively involved in the handling and processing of cereal and cereal products.
Our membership categories include:
ACTIVE Members
This membership level is open only to Cereal Millers residing in Kenya and are of good legal and financial standing and wish to join the Association.
ASSOCIATE Members
This membership level is open to all Kenyan registered associations with national reach and is in good legal and financial standing and wish to join the Association.
AFFILIATE Members
This membership level is open to all Individual Kenyan registered companies in good legal and financial standing representing related sectors as may be determined by the active membership.
Application
Membership is conducted through online application or upon request of application form from the secretariat. The CMA Board of Directors has discretionary authority to review membership applications through its various vetting organs and determine eligibility and appropriateness of applicants based on agreed criteria.
